Alex is an extremely methodical and competent collision reconstruction expert.
Alex draws on over 6 year experience as a Forensic Collision Investigator with the Metropolitan Police. Using a combination of his past practical experience within the Police, and application of fundamental physical and mathematical principles, he is able to reconstruct the actions of the parties involved, producing accompanying reports, scaled and detailed plans and modelling, to present cases with clarity and accuracy.
Within his time in the Police Alex gained considerable knowledge of large goods and passenger carrying vehicles as part of the dedicated Road's Policing Commercial Vehicle Unit and is therefore able to examine not only cars and motorcycles, but also large goods vehicles for road worthiness and allegations of collision contributory defects.
Alex was responsible for the Collision Investigation of the first E-Scooter fatality in the UK and has heavily researched their design and suitability for use on roads and is published in the subject.
